Prevalencia del uso de antiinflamatorios no esteroideos en pacientes atendidos en el hospital distrital Santa Isabel, el Porvenir-Trujillo. Setiembre-diciembre 2014
Abstract
El propósito de la investigación fue determinar la prevalencia del uso de antiinflamatorios no esteroideos (AINES) en los pacientes atendidos en el Hospital Distrital Santa Isabel, El Porvenir - Trujillo, durante el período setiembre – diciembre 2014. Se realizó un estudio de tipo descriptivo, corte transversal, diseño observacional, y con enfoque cuantitativo, para la estimación de la muestra (n) se consideró la prevalencia del 25 %, aplicándose 250 encuestas. Según los factores sociodemográficos el mayor número de pacientes encuestados se encuentran entre 18 a 35 años de edad con un 64 %; el 53,6 % corresponde al género femenino y el 52 % culminaron estudios secundarios. Según, patrones de uso el medicamento más consumido fue el paracetamol con 31,6 %, la forma farmacéutica más utilizada fueron las tabletas y cápsulas con un 87.6 %, el antecedente mórbido más reportado fue dolor musculoesqueletico con 26.4 %. Se concluye que la prevalencia del uso de AINES fue de 90 %, valor que se considera de referencia para posteriores estudios.
