Elaboración de una crema dérmica a base de aceite esencial de Origanum vulgare (Orégano)
Abstract
La siguiente investigación tuvo como objetivo elaborar la una crema dérmica a base del aceite esencial de Origanum vulgare (orégano). El presente trabajo de investigación corresponde a un estudio de tipo descriptivo. Se trabajó con el aceite esencial de Origanum vulgare, el cual fue obtenido por el equipo de Clevenger, previamente la muestra fue seleccionada, lavada y secada a temperatura ambiente.
Se elaboró la crema dérmica a tres concentraciones 0.25%, 0.5% y 0.75%. Para evaluar las caracteristicas organolépticas se aplicó una encuesta a los estudiantes de la Universidad Católica los Ángeles de Chimbote, obteniendo como resultado que la crema a concentración 0.25 %presenta un buen aroma, color blanco, consistencia adecuada y rápida absorción. Para la concentración 0.5%, presentó un aroma regular, color blanco, consistencia espesa y absorción regular y por ultimo para la concentración de 0.75 %, presentó un aroma regular, color blanco, consistencia adecuada y rápida absorción. En cuanto a la medida del pH, para la concentración de 0.25% fue de 6.41, para 0.5% fue de 6.35 y para la concentración 0.75% fue de 6.25.
Se llegó a la conclusión que la crema elaborada al 0.75 % es la más adecuada para el uso, ya que su pH se asemeja al de la piel, además presenta buena consistencia y rápida absorción.
