El presente trabajo de investigación titulado, “Autoestima y Resiliencia en los Adolescentes del Asentamiento Humano Nuevo Jerusalén - La Esperanza, 2016. Se realizó con el propósito de determinar la relación entre las variables de estudio, tal y como lo demuestran los resultados obtenidos luego de la aplicación de la investigación de tipo cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo con diseño correlacional, no experimental y transversal, cuya muestra estuvo constituida por 278 adolescentes entre 12 a 17 años. Para la recolección y procesamiento de datos, los instrumentos aplicados fueron: Autoestima 25, de Cesar Ruiz Alva y Escala de resiliencia para adolescentes (ERA), de Rodolfo Prado Álvarez y Mónica Del Águila Chávez, aplicándose el paquete estadístico adaptado a las Ciencias Sociales SPSS, Versión 23.0. Luego de la aplicación de las pruebas se concluyó que existe correlación altamente significativa entre ambas variables y el nivel predominante en la autoestima fue el nivel bajo, mientras que en la resiliencia predomino el nivel medio.
